Sugarland
Band BioSugarland was formed in 2003 by Jennifer Nettles, Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall (now ex-member).
The very next year, 2004, was Sugarland's breakthrough year. Their first album Twice the Speed of Life spawned the hugely successful single Baby Girl which propelled the band straight into the spotlight. The song spent over 40 weeks in the Billboard Hot Country Hits chart, peaking at number 2. Three more tracks off the album were released as singles, Something More, Just Might (Make Me Believe), and Down in Mississippi.
Early in 2006, Kristen Hall announced her intention to leave the band. Later she was to say that she didn't want to be a touring musician, preferring the challenge of finding and developing unsigned acts.
Sugarland released their sophomore album late in 2006. Entitled Enjoy the Ride, it fully lived up to expectations, containing some super folk-rock songs. Singles from the album include Want To, and Settlin both of which shot straight to the top of the country charts. Two other tracks made it to the top ten - Stay, and Everyday America.
