Miami
DescriptionMiami was founded as recently as 1896. The city is
home to many Cubans who fled their homeland to
escape from Castro's communism.
The most
famous part of Miami is Miami Beach, but this has a very
different character from the main city. Miami is home to
the skyscrapers of the business area, and two modern
aerial trams, whereas Miami Beach has the Art Deco
district, and the famous sandy beach. Also worth a trip
are Little Havana, Coconut Grove and Coral Gables.

Why in 100 Best?
The weather is nearly always hot and humid, and Miami
Beach is great place to relax and chill out. Local grown fruit
such as mangoes and papayas taste wonderful in cool fruit
smoothies.
