Gabriel Aubry

Born on August 30, 1976, in Montreal to French- Canadian parents, Gabriel was part of a very large family, being one of nine siblings. He had a unsettled childhood, from the age of 4 to 18 he lived with five different foster familys, finally moving back to live with his father Gerard.

In his late teens, Gabriel was discovered when he was approached by a fashion scout in a night club. This lead to some great exposure in the fashion pages of the local newspaper, from where he was picked up for some modelling assignments with Calvin Klein and Versace. Gabriel's suave look was duly noted by all the top fashion houses. He has since modeled for all the major brands, including Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, DKNY, Valentino, Trussardi, Nautica, Exte, Joop, Massimo Dutti and Next.

Thanks to his liason with Halle Berry, Gabriel has been hounded by paparazzi, determined to ttake a picture of the couple with their child Nahla. The pair have now split up, and the press's interest in Gabriel has cooled. His business interests have recently expanded - Gabriel now owns a restaurant in Manhattan, New York City, Cafe Fuego in the East Village on trendy St. Mark's Place.
