Josh Holloway

Josh was born in California. When still a young boy, Josh moved with his family to Free Home, Georgia. He's the second of 4 brothers.

After high school, Josh went to the University of Georgia, but dropped out early to work as a model. Following a couple of very successful years, Josh decided to switch from modelling to acting, so travelled west, and took up residence in LA. To start with, it was a struggle to find work - his strong Southern accent could be a hinderance when it came to clinching parts.

But Josh landed the perfect role for himself in the mega-hit series Lost, where he plays the street-wise tough-guy Sawyer. Luckily for Josh, the character speaks with a strong southern drawl.
