Beyonce Knowle's great voice shone at a very early age - at Sunday congregation she managed to drown out the choir. She took opera classes to further train and strenghten her voice.

When Beyonce was in her early teens, her father teamed her up with LaTavia Robertson, LeToya Luckett and cousin Kelly Roland, forming Destiny's child. No, No, No, their first official single, was an instant hit. Destiny's Child went on to be mega-successful, creating a string of platinum albums, and performing to sell-out audiences across the globe. In 2002 the group split up to follow solo projects.

Beyonce flourished as a solo artist - her first album, Dangerously In Love, which included the smash hit track Crazy In Love, achieved incredible world-wide sales.

The multi-talented Beyonce has also starred in several movies - her parts in Austin Powers in Goldmember and Dreamgirls being the most memorable to date.
