Nicole Trunfio
BioNicole was born and raised in Merredin, a small town in Western Australia. Her parents are Italian Australians, and Nicole's the youngest girl of 4 children. As a youngster she was a bit of a tearaway - her favorite after-school activity was riding motocross bikes and go-karts around a neighbor's farm.
In 2001, Nicole's tall and lanky frame was spotted walking down a Perth street by Christine Fox, the renowned talent scout from Vivien Model Management. (Christine Fox also discovered Gemma Ward). Nicole was persuaded to enter the Fox Australia TV series 'Search for a Supermodel', which she duly won. This launched her modeling career. After a lot of local work, she soon widened her horizons, travelling more and more to London, Paris, Milan and New York.
Nicole has modeled on the catwalk for many top designers, including Neiman Marcus, La Perla, Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavelli, Versace, Dolce and Gabbana, and Valentino. She has featured on many magazine covers, and editorial spreads.
Nicole is a charming, friendly woman. She has a witty streak of self-depracating humor, shown by the fact she's a very apt tattoo of a clothes hanger on the nape of her neck.
In 2008, Nicole made her acting debut, playing a small part in the movie Two Fists, One Heart, a gritty tale of boxing set in Australia.
