Beauty And The Beast
PlotPrince Adam, a handsome but arrogant man, lives in a towering castle. One day he turns an elderly lady away from the door, only to discover she is a soceress. For his meaness, she casts a spell on him, turning him into a beast. She also gives him a magical rose, saying that if he can find someone to love him before the last petal drops of the dying flower, he will regain human form.
Several years later, the rose has lost many of its petals. An old man from the local village, an eccentric inventor, is caught by the beast wandering in the castle's woods. The beast throws the old man into the dungeon. The beautiful Belle, the old man's daughter, comes to the castle and offers to take the place of her father, in exchange for his freedom. Another petal falls from the rose.
