Die Hard
PlotJohn McLane joins his estranged wife Holly at her company's Christmas Eve party, held in a tall LA skyscaper. John is a resourceful, street-wise NYPD officer. He's flown into LA to see his wife and daughter.
A few minutes into the party, John and Holly are already arguing in the bathroom. Holly storms off, leaving a bemused John alone. When Holly rejoins her colleagues a terrorist group storms in, taking the guests hostage. The terrorists, led by the very nasty Hans Gruber, are planning a huge robbery. John must try to single-handedly destroy the terrorists.
