Gandhi
PlotIn 1948, Gandhi is assassinated. Vast throngs attend his funeral. The people of the newly independent India share an intense grief.
Time travels backwards, and a young Gandhi is campaigning in South Africa for the civil rights of the Indian population, many of whom suffer intolerable discrimination. Gandhi leads dignified, peaceful but non-cooperative protests. His humility is his strength, as his philosophy inspires every Indian migrant in South Africa.
