Leon
PlotLéon lives alone in a small apartment. His apparently dull existence has one small secret - he's a full-time hitman. The meticulous attention to detail and discipline needed in this profession have left Léon a cold, calculating character devoid of human warmth.
A family occupy the neighbouring apartment. Mathilda, a 12 year old, is the outcast of the family. One day, corrupt DEA agents raid Mathilda's apartment, killing her parents. Mathilda is returning from the shops, and escapes the same fate when Léon reluctantly opens his door to offer her refuge. With nowhere else for her to go, Léon lets Mathilda stay. As time passes, a mutual respect between the two misfits develops. Mathilda plans to avenge the death of her parents.
