Logan's Run
PlotFast forward to the 23rd century. The survivors of an apocalyse live in a domed underground city. The life of everybody is automatically limited to just 30 years. Logan - a 'Sandman' - chases and kills anyone that tries to 'run' to the mythical 'Sanctuary' to avoid their fate. Logan meets Jessica, and guesses that she plans to 'run' soon. Then, the computer advances Logan's timeclock to near 30, so he can infiltrate the Sanctuary seekers without suspicion. Logan fears that his timeclock will not be rewound. He joins Jessica on the 'run'. They find that Sanctuary is a real place, with a green land under a blue sky. Logan returns to tell all the truth.

Why in 100 Best?
Great acting from Michael York and Jenny Agutter, who seem very plain and boring to start, but reveal their hidden characters. But the great highlight of the film, is how creative it is visually - looks dated now, but in a good way.
