Scarface
Plot'The World is Yours' are the words Tony Montana sees on an airship floating overhead. These words propel him deeper into the mob world. But at what a price. He loses everything, and ends up shot to pieces, floating face down in the hall pool in his opulent mansion. The same words (which he's had fixed to a small decorative globe) look down on his corpse.

Why in 100 Best?
Al Pacino does not 'act' the part in this film, he 'is' the part. And he carries you with him, so you feel your sense of being a third-party watching dissolve into total absorption.
